Project Overview
As part of the industry collaboration project, Republic Polytechnic collaborated with People's Association for Chingay 2015. Students were tasked to write 2 articles, produce a photo essay and a broadcast piece in their teams of 4-5.
Roles and contributions
I was the photographer and videographer for this project. I did a photo essay piece and helped with the videography and editing of the broadcast piece. I also doubled up as the website designer.
What I learned
I learned to engage my photo subjects and shoot in low-lighting conditions. I also got to develop my videography and interviewing skills.

Performers waved out of a Kampong themed float as part of the MemoriesSG segment. Kampongs were the residential areas for the locals before HDB flats were built in the 1960s.
