July 2017 - July 2019
Position: Company Quartermaster (3SG) Logisitics Supervisor
- I served in the 36th Battalion Singapore Combat Engineers (EOD) as a company quartermaster in Alpha Company. I led my company to accomplish the shifting of camps without need for direct supervision. Awarded Best Solider of the Month for taking initiatives, and for producing high quality and consistent work, diligently performing duties beyond the scope of work and the expectations of my superiors. Participated in Major Operations, assisting my superior and the teams, at Shangri La Dialogue 2018 and 2019.
March 2016 - July 2017
Position: Intern Photojournalist/ Freelance Photojournalist
- Interned at ST Photodesk for 5 months, before offered a freelance contract. I shot on many assignments ranging from news, corporate profiles, sports, accidents and anything under the sky. Pitched story ideas for their weekly photo spreads, "Home in Focus". Subsequently given the opportunity to produce my own photo essay on the Bumboat operators of Changi. During my time at ST, I achieved 200+ photo bylines 2 videos, 3 Front page photos (ST) and 3 Front page photo (MyPaper).
June 2014 - March 2015
Position: Sales Assistant
- Handle cash register sales, restock stationary goods and provide customer service to shoppers. Coordinate with other shop branches on delivery and stock-transfer and stock-taking.
January 2013 - March 2013
Position: Administrative Assistant
- Craft emails to vendors and provide photos for marketing collaterals and events, for internal circulation. Liaise with shop managers to coordinate and conduct field research to improve company’s customer service quality.
